Projects, events and news from the University of Cambridge Museums
Remember our blog entry from this summer? The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology app launched in October and is now ready for your iPad. You can download it here and start exploring the archaeology of Cambridge right away! The app is bigger and better than the beta version you may have seen or tried before – we now have a handy timeline and several sound recordings as well.
Become an archaeologist, discovering where artefacts from the past have been found. Compare the locations of finds with the course of the river, as well as the Roman road around which medieval Cambridge was built. See how the artefacts that people made and used in their everyday lives have changed from prehistoric times to today.
Try it, rate it, and give us your feedback. We’d love to hear what you have to say about our new app.
