Fitzwilliam Object of the Month: January

These will be on display in the Museum and featured in a short video.

Here is the video for January: Louis François Roubiliac’s incredible hand sculpted terracotta model of George Frideric Handel.

Keeper of Applied Arts Dr Victoria Avery, and Assistant Keeper of Manuscripts and Printed Books, Dr Suzanne Reynolds, talk us through why Roubiliac’s Handel is such an important figure and why it is the first Object of the Month.

The model is on display in Gallery 3 of the Fitzwilliam Museum. Admission is Free.
